Opening of Calls for grant applications under Programme CZ06 – Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Art – PRELIMINARY NOTICE of 18 December 2013
Invitation to the Match-Making Seminar to find partners
EEA and Norway Financial Mechanisms (Norway Grants) represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reducing economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area and to strengthening bilateral relations with 16 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe. The cooperation between the donor sates and the Czech Republic supports a stable, peaceful and prosperous Europe based on the principles of good governance, democratic institutions, rule of law, human rights and sustainable development.
To keep the potential applicants well-informed, we hereby publish, with the consent of the Programme Operator (Ministry of Finance), the bellow draft versions of the Calls for grant applications under the EEA Grants 2009-2014. We expect that the official Calls (in the valid version) will be announced on 9 January 2014. In this context, we would like to inform potential applicants that the draft versions do not include changes that may be made after the completion of the notification of Programme 06 with the European Commission in terms of state aid.
In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, Programme 06 and the Calls, we expect that successful applicants for grant support will establish and develop partnerships with relevant partners from the donor states.
Information on the search for suitable partners for project implementation is available on the website www.norskefondy.cz. Partners may be contacted using the electronic Cooperation Form (available here) and particularly at the Match-Making Seminar organized in cooperation with Arts Council Norway (Programme CZ06 Donor Partner). This seminar with participation of foreign artists from different fields and other cultural workers will take place on 6 February 2014. The seminar will involve lectures, workshops and visit to a cultural event. The participants will be provided enough space for unofficial meetings and discussions. We expect that most of the participants will take an active part in the seminar. Given the limited capacity, participants should register using the EEA Grants Match-Making Form (see below) by 9 January 2014. Participants will be selected according to the order in which the registration forms are received.
